Biography:

Terry Lee Corozis, born on May 20, 1956, in East Bernard, Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 16, 2024, at Herman Memorial Hospital, Katy, Texas. She was the beloved daughter of Martin Sopchak and Margreat Sullivan, and her stepmother Margie Hughes.

Terry is survived by her loving husband, Stavros, and their cherished daughters, Evaggelia (Leah), Margreat (Maggie), Samantha and her boyfriend Jacob. She loved her favorite son in law Mike Mercado. Terry Lee was a proud grandmother to Michael, Stavros (Stevie), Hope, Shannon, and Hailey. She was a devoted fur mom to her beloved dog, Piper. Also, survived by her siblings and their spouse Peggy Ramos, Tracey and Doug Grzehowiak, Stephen and Pat Phillips, and Martin Jr. And Sendy Sopchak. Terry also had many cherished memories of her nieces, nephews and their children. The family would like to mention, Chloe Sopchak. Terry Lee had a very special place in her heart for her. Terry’s vibrant spirit was evident in her love for life. She enjoyed playing bingo, driving around to discover garage sales, and indulging in her favorite fried chicken spots…always on the other side of town. Her infectious laughter could light up a room, and anyone who heard it found it hard not to join in on the fun.

A memory that stands out is when the family lived in Chicago, where Terry would sprinkle cornmeal on the floor, bust her cowboy boots out, and dance joyfully with Stavros, her smile radiating pure happiness. She was known for her candid nature, often saying what was on her mind with no filters, and for her ability to bring a sense of mischief to any gathering. Terry had a passion for card games, often gathering with family and friends for lively competitions. She enjoyed the challenge of a great puzzle and had such creativity when it came to holiday wreaths. When she and Stavros had the opportunity to go out, Terry would dress to the nines, her makeup flawless, resembling a movie star with a style that shined brightly. Her love for jewelry was evident, as she had a collection of rings, necklaces and bracelets that catered to every color and style.

Above all, Terry Lee was a woman of faith, believing in God and looking forward to the day she would join Him in heaven. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

We will be holding a viewing and the memorial service on October 25th 2024.

The viewing starts at 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and the memorial service will start at 2:15 PM at Del Pueblo Funeral Home, 8222 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77088.
Followed by the burial at the cemetery.
