María Teresa García nació con un corazón generoso. Unió a muchos con su comida y nunca le negó un plato calientito a alguien. A lo largo de su vida, demostró un amor incondicional por su familia, entregándose por completo a quienes amaba. Fue el terror de los taqueros y carniceros pero su calidez, su fe y su espíritu incansable serán recordados por todos quienes tuvimos el privilegio de conocerla.
Te extrañaremos por siempre, pero también te honraremos cada día, viviendo con el amor, la fe y la valentía que nos enseñaste.

There are no words to describe the deep void you leave in our lives. Wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, your departure leaves immense pain, but also a legacy of love, strength, and dedication.
María Teresa García was born with a generous heart. She brought many people together through her food and never denied anyone a warm plate. Throughout her life, she showed unconditional love for her family, giving herself completely to those she loved. She was the terror of taco vendors and butchers, but her warmth, her faith, and her tireless spirit will be remembered by all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.
We will miss you forever, but we will also honor you each day, living with the love, faith, and courage you taught us.

Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to meet Maria Teresa Garcia Palomo, but I’ve meet her daughters and granddaughter. In them is a beautiful spirit that Maria Teresa could be proud of.
