Biography:
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved father, Jose Edgardo Palma on September 9th, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on February 27th, 1961, in Jucuapa, El Salvador, he was the son of Jose Luz Padilla and Lucila Padilla.
Jose “Edgardo” migrated to Houston, Texas in the early 80’s to start his family and begin his career in construction. He married his loving wife, Ada Miriam Santos, and together they raised their three boys, Jose Wilfredo Santos, Douglas Alexander Santos and Oscar Edgardo Santos.
Edgardo was a jack of all trades. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix or figure out. He never hesitated to help his family and friends with anything they needed. He was always very proud of his work and family, especially his cherished grandchildren. No matter how tired or ill he was feeling, he always made time to play and spoil all of them. He also began a lifelong passion of fishing with his three boys that continues today.
Edgardo is predeceased by his mother Lucila Padilla, father Jose Luz Padilla, and his two brothers Abel Padilla and Gilberto Padilla.
Edgardo is survived by his loving wife, Ada, three sons, Jose “Will” , Douglas and Oscar, and grandchildren, Ariana, Adrian, Oscar Jr. and Isabella; his brother Rene Padilla and sister Rubidia Padilla.
