Biography:
With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Beverly Jean Lancaster, who departed this life on April 6, 2025, at the age of 79. Beverly was born on June 11, 1945, in Louisiana, and built a life centered around family, service, and education.
A dedicated educator with the Houston Independent School District, Beverly touched the lives of countless students, colleagues, and families throughout her career. Her commitment to learning and nurturing young minds was matched only by the deep love she had for her own family.
Beverly was a proud wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, and neighbor. She found her greatest joy in spending time with loved ones, creating cherished memories filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
Her legacy lives on in the many hearts she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

My condolences to the beautiful family during your time of loss. Some of my earliest memories, I must have been 2 or 3, were of her encouraging me to read or play games that made me think. I remember how I loved visiting her home to play the water puzzle games!!! To Vette and Scooter, God bless you guys! Love yall! Praying for a calm heart and brighter days!

I made pies & cakes deliveries for My Mom/Suckie to Family & Friends, Mrs. Beverly & her Husband always ordered My Mom’s German Chocolate cake, everytime I came by to drop cake off Mrs. Beverly or her Husband would greet me and say get out the car & come inside don’t just drop cake off & leave, she never let me leave without giving me some good positive advice & wisdom about life, She would say it’s a reason you were available to deliver my cake to me, We would have a great conversation & I miss those days & I cherish those conversations in my heart. I love & will miss you always Mrs. Beverlyjust minutes of conversations can help us for a lifetime. Rest Well Mrs. Beverly I will miss your warmth spirit but your words of encouragement I will have with me for the rest of my life journey it’s the smallest things that leaves A great impact in our lives✨️I love you all Family✨️

I came into the family in 1976 and eventually met Aunt Beverly and loved her from the beginning. She was a beautiful person who I enjoyed talking and laughing with. She will be truly missed by her family and those that knew her.

My sincere condolences to the family during this time of bereavement. When I met her in Guam at RC and Doreathas house she treated me like she had known me forever. I had the opportunity to visit her at her home and she treated me and my family like royalty. Earth’s loss but heavens gain

Going to Sears & JC penny on our way to the the bowling alley to play Countdown – remember Rory and Jeff, Shelia and Sherlyn , Robin & Rusty – remember popping wheelies with that white boy in that wheelchair- remember Reggie & Sweet?
