Biography:
Jeannette passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, in The Woodlands, Tx.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Rozalia Washington, whose memory she carried tenderly throughout her life.
Jeannette leaves behind a devoted family who will forever cherish her: her sons and daughters‑in‑law, Joseph and Rebecca Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, and Charles and Tushara Williams of Houston, Texas; her sister, Vera Kelley; her sister and brother‑in‑law, Dr. Carolyn and Victor Lightfoot of Houston, Texas; her brother, Dennis Williams of Houston, Texas; and her brother and sister‑in‑law, Dr. Phillip and Deana Williams of New Jersey.
She was also blessed with many grandchildren and great‑grandchildren, each one a source of joy, pride, and purpose.
Jeannette’s life was defined by love, kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She fought courageously to remain with those she loved, demonstrating remarkable resilience and steadfast faith through every challenge.
The world feels a little emptier without her gentle presence, yet her legacy continues in the hearts of all who were touched by her warmth and compassion.
Heaven has gained a faithful warrior for Jesus. Though our hearts grieve her absence, we take comfort in knowing she now rests peacefully in the arms of her Savior. Her life reflected the truth of Scripture:
Philippians 1:21 — “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
2 Timothy 4:7 — “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Jeannette now rejoices in the presence of the Lord — praising, worshiping, and dancing in eternal peace.
Her legacy of faith, perseverance, and love will continue to shine brightly through the generations she leaves behind.
