    CREMATION

Biography:

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Smith Maglitto, who left this world peacefully on August 21, 2026, at the age of 66.

Born in Houston to Joe and Lilly Martinez, Cynthia was the devoted wife of Rick Maglitto for 23 years and the proud, loving mother of Stephanie Villalta and her husband, Jorge; stepmother to Michael Maglitto and his wife, Aleshia, and sister Brittany Maglitto; and adoptive mother to Destiny, Leah, and Gabriela. She was also a loving sister to Margaret and Anthony. But her most cherished role of all was Grandma “Nana” to her grandchildren, Tiffany, Isaiah, Adrian, Mason, Madison, Lillian, Grayson, Luna, Aubrie, and Kennedi.

Cynthia always found a way to take care of her family and others. She found great joy in making crafts for her grandchildren and for the church. She also loved her dogs and enjoyed dancing and trying new things, including skydiving and riding Harleys.

She is survived by her husband, Rick; her mother, Lilly; her daughter, Stephanie; her son-in-law, Jorge; her sister, Margaret; her brother, Anthony; her beloved grandchildren; and many dear family members and friends.

Cynthia leaves us with a legacy of deep kindness, patience, and a reminder to always love and take care of one another. She will be forever missed and held in our hearts always.
